December 2025 Merry Christmas ! The highlight of our December meeting is our annual Christmas party. This year's event was catered by Sei Catering of Lititz. Thanks to Mel and Tina for organizing a great party.

Food Bank Donations As a celebration of Thanksgiving our members brought in many nonperishable items for donation to a local food bank. Thank you to Melanie Gunzenhauser for organizing the donation and taking the collected items to the food bank.
Show and tell. Members brought in rugs showing their journey from their first piece to their most current project. Ii was fun to see the growth and creativity in each members rug hooking journey.

October 2025 Happy Fall Y'all. At our monthly meeting we had the opportunity to learn a little bit about dimensional felting. Jean Kelly and Kelle Stork taught the group how make pumpkins from wool flax. There were a limited number of felting tool finger pricks! Everyone enjoyed the lesson and we had wonderful fall decorations to take home
August 2025 Annual Woolwrights Picnic YUMMY! Each August we hold a summer picnic celebration. Everyone brings a covered dish to share. And of course we hooked and share our work,
July 2025 It's hot outside! This month the photographer forgot her camera so a few members stepped to the plate and took lots of great photos. Thank you all!

Sue Copenhaver shared this mat that she received as a gift from a friend at the Hummelstown Historical Society. This vintage mat called Three Tulips is from the estate of Fanny Groff. Watch for more information about this mat.

March 2025 Happy Hookin Eve! We had a short meeting as many members were planning to head to the Farm and Home Center to start the process of setting up for the hookin. Everyone is excited for the event. Remember the theme is Mardi Gras, you are invited to dress for the celebration,
February 2025 Happy Valentine's Day! Kelle Stork shared vintage Valentine's cards that were collected by her father! How adorable. Members brought finished projects to show and others showed off what they were currently working on. A group photograph was taken (two versions - one serious and one our true selves) Cindy Irwin then taught a class on how to make dimensional roses. What a lovely bouquet.
January 2025 Happy New Year! During the first meeting of the year Sue Copenhaver presented a slide show about the Brackets (hooking on jean jackets) that had been shown at the recent TIGHR triennial(The International Guild of Handhooking Rugmakers). What a great way to display some of your work. Sue enthusiastically recommends checking thrift shops to find gently used jeans jackets to make your own!
Renee Thomas also distributed the embroidered "nametag" starters that she made for interested members. Each member is encouraged to complete the starter so we all have beautiful nametags.
