Beginner's Class held in April was a HUGE Success.......

Because of the success of the April 2024 Beginner's Class we're going to have a follow up class in June.

Traditional Rug Hooking  Class
at the Hummelstown Area Historical Society 

The Woolwrights are returning for a second traditional rug hooking class on Saturday June 7, 2025 at the Parish House in Hummelstown. First time hookers will create a 4x4 mug rug. Repeat hookers will create a 4x6 mat in a frame. Hooks, frames, hoops, foundations, strippers, wool, yarn and all class supplies are provided. Class starts at 9 AM until a soft close by 3 PM. Use the center door of the Parrish House at the corner of Rosanna Street and North Alley.

The cost of the class is $35, payable in advance. Class size is limited.

Beginner's Class was a huge success.

Woolwright's Member volunteers and class participants gathered at the Hummelstown Area Historical Society for a day long introductory course in traditional rug hooking.  Participants learned about the basic of rug hooking,  Each participant finished their own mug rug.  Everyone had a great day.  Thanks to Sue and all of our volunteers for making this a successful event.
