2016 - SHOW & TELL
October 14, 2016 - There are times when you really need to be with your "sisters". Today was one of those days. We had a great day of sharing our concerns, our prayers, and wishes for our friends and then we were able to laugh and thoroughly enjoy our time with each other. Times are tough right now with the political happenings in our world and with our own personal challenges, but it is good to know that we can seek relief from the world when we come together with our Woolwright "sisters" and let some of that wonderful fall sunshine shine on us. As always, the talent of our members making beautiful rugs is just wonderful, but the best part of the day is always the time spent with our friends.
September 9, 2016 - Fall is approaching, but it was a very steamy day today, almost like a perfect summer day for a yard sale and that is exactly what the Woolwrights did. There was an abundance of items to purchase and even some free giveaways for our annual sale. Plans and excitement for upcoming events with Sybil Osicka next week, the upcoming Woolwrights' getaway, and talk of arrangements for the 2017 ATHA Biennial in Cleveland, Ohio.
July 8, 2016 - Today was the first day for our new officers, MJ, Patti, Bonnie, and Darlene, and they did a great job. As you will see, very few photos were taken as there were so many different things going on. The photos taken today were of the challenge rug, "Four Seasons", which will be displayed at Sauder Village next month. All of the "Four Seasons" rugs were designed by our own Woolwrights.
May 13, 2016 - Last month, it was snow and today it was a torrential downpour when we were ready to go home. We had a great meeting today with many beautiful projects being worked on. We had our election of officers for the upcoming two years and great hope and opportunity waiting ahead for the Woolwrights. We did not have show & tell today so there are not as many photos are we usually have.
April 8, 2016 - So..... you thought spring was here? Did you see that snow flying at great speed through the air today on your way to the Woolwrights meeting? Flowers are blooming, but the snow was sending mixed messages as people got in their cars to come and then turned around and then started again. We had a great group today with a wide variety of rugs. Quite a few rugs were brought in today to be photographed for an upcoming article on primitive rugs with ATHA. Maybe...... next month, we will be in the spring season.
February 12, 2016 - Winter brings out good things. It can be frustrating, but on the other side, it can be absolutely beautiful! We all made it through one "huuuge" snowstorm with 30+ inches and a smaller one with about seven inches and we were anxious to see one another and share our rugs. Today seemed like a day of big rugs as a good share of them took two or three people to hold them up. We are planning for our annual spring hook-in on March 19, 2016, and we are excited about that day and all the registrations have been received with no more openings. The hook-in for 2016 sold out at least three weeks before the hook-in in 2015. Spring is a coming!

1/8/2016 - Happy New Year! As you will see from the photos below, the Woolwrights are happy and ready to begin the new year. It is January and we still have not had one drop of snow here, so we had a great turnout for our first meeting of the year. Everyone was so glad to be back together as it seemed like it had been such a long time. There are big plans in store for the New Year with the Woolwrights and let's all plan to make this one of the happiest years yet!
