COLORS OF DIANE STOFFEL

On October 11th through the 13th of 2021, the Woolwrights had the first in-person workshop since the pandemic began and our wonderful teacher was Diane Stoffel. The days were slightly warm and the sun was shining brightly to celebrate our coming together. Thanks to Connie for making the arrangements for the workshop, thanks to Cindy for hosting and allowing us to use her beautiful studio, and thank you to Diane for coming and bringing her stories, her tips, and her expertise in rug hooking. When we get together, we always learn so many things, ie. how to make french knots using wool or to turn a photograph upside down while hooking the face on the rug or even things that have nothing to do with rug hooking, ie. what kind of fish to buy!! We all enjoyed the friendship, interesting stories and laughter, and the good food that was delivered to us daily by a very nice man. We even had homemade ice cream on the last day! What could have been better!
